Fun-Filled and Budget Friendly: Your Guide to the 2025 Bloomsburg Fair

We are rounding up ways to affordably enjoy the annual Bloomsburg Fair! This year, the fair runs September 19-27. Below we’ve summarized ways to save on admission & ride tickets, FREE and low cost entertainment highlights, livestock schedules – including mutton busting- and more.

NEW IN 2025

📲Bloomsburg Fair App: complete with vendor listings, maps, FAQ section, daily schedules, and lots more
😻Cat Exhibit: Located in the the dog building, made possible by the Animal Resource Center
👧“Little Bloomer” Contest: 20 girls ages 4-6 will compete to accompany the Bloomsburg Fair’s Queen to events
🕹️“Skill Games” in the Industrial Building: 7 skill game machines installed for visitors to try their luck!
🎉Grand Opening Ceremony (September 19, 7pm): Unveiling a downsized replica of the Liberty Bell in honor of the 250th anniversary of the siging of the Delcaration of Independence


New or Returned Livestock exhibits:

Bloomsburg Fair Admission

ADMISSION TIPS

  • Preview Day: Friday, September 19– reduced admission from $8/person to $3/person. Fair Gates open at 2pm.
  • Calling all early risers! The fair is open every day at 7am with hardly any foot traffic (after preview day).
  • General admission (all days)- FREE for children 12 and under!
  • Seniors Day: Monday, September 2265 and older- FREE with valid ID. This is a great day for kids to bond with their grandparents or other senior relatives!
  • Student Days: Tuesday, September 23 and Friday, September 26ages 13-18- FREE
  • Military Day: Wednesday, September 24– Any veteran, past or present (with valid ID)- FREE
  • Save on admission: (Buy Online, in person at the ticket office, or at Weis Markets)
    Advance Gate Tickets: $7/person (ages 13+)
    Packet of 8 tickets: $48, ($6/person, ages 13+)
    Week-Long Badge Pass: $35/person (ages 13+): a great option if your family really enjoys the fair and plans to visit multiple times!

🎤Bloomsburg Fair FREE Stage Entertainment

Each day of the fair there are multiple shows happening at the Free Stage. From musical artists and bands, to dance performances, comedy shows, bible services, contests, and more!


🎡Bloomsburg Fair: Rides

If you and/or your children enjoy rides, consider purchasing an Amusements of America Ride Voucher ahead of time online. You can purchase up to 12 online ride tickets at $20/ticket. Your ticket will be redeemed for a wristband to be utilized for ONE DAY of unlimited rides.

🐐All Star Barnyard Revue (Shows at 12pm, 2pm, 4pm & 6pm each day): A show featuring all miniature barnyard animals in a display that is educational and entertaining.

🎈 I Blew It! Lanny Lee: A fun show featuring balloon animals and other critters

🪄NEW! Jay Mattioli: A high-voltage, jaw-dropping spectacle that will leave audiences spellbound and on the edge of their seats

Bloomsburg Fair: FREE Livestock Entertainment

Have you heard of Mutton Busting?! They put children on sheep (with a helmet), and see how long they can stay on! This happens in the Bissinger Apple Dumplings Outdoor Ring!
Also fun for kids: Rabbit Jumping, Alpaca showings, Fainting Goat show and more!


NEW in 2025

We’ve teamed up with local fair fanatic, Alexis Gulliver, who runs an annual list of all of her favorite food & drink vendors, as well as activites and attractions she loves. Some of her must try places include:

Food & Drink:

-Denny & Pearl’s Pizza, Gunzey’s Hot Sausage, Belly Busters (burgers), Amish Donut, John the Greek Gyro, Marcy’s Orangeaid, Wandering Brewtique (coffee), MK Bubble Drinks, and so many more!

Fun:

Steinmetz’s Farm Stand (snuggling baby goats), photos with baby cows (inside cattle barn) and fun activities outside the cattle barns (mini tractors, etc.), Sky Ride, and lots more!

Blue Spararow Farms (mini highland cows to cuddle!), Project Pizza Company, Michael’s Maine Lobster Rolls, and others!

️Bloomsburg Fair: Camping

Did you know you can camp at the fair? The Bloomsburg Fair offers RV Parking at $40 per night in our camping lots for the fair and all other grounds events. Depending on the lot some spots will have water, electric, and sewer hookups. Learn more below!
