Each year, we put together our guide to help you make the most of the Bloomsburg Fair without stretching your budget. This year’s fair runs September 25-October 3, and we’ve once again rounded up the best ways to save on admission and ride tickets, enjoy FREE and low-cost entertainment, find livestock schedules, and SO MUCH more.
NEW IN 2026
📲Bloomsburg Fair App: complete with vendor listings, maps, FAQ section, daily schedules, and lots more (came out in 2025)- this year there is a scavenger hunt feature with a prize option at the end!
Giant Vegetables: New giant vegetable categories are here this year, including watermelons, tomatoes, pumpkins and more.
🎟️New ticket protocol: Now all Grandstand concert or track show tickets now automatically include daily fair gate admission. (Tickets were previously sold separately).
📱Mobile Scanning: The fairgrounds have deployed updated scanning hardware at the entrances, allowing attendants to scan print-at-home or digital parking passes directly from your smartphone screen.
🛻Gate Parking Price Increase: Parking at the physical gate has been raised to $10.
🚘New Advance Parking Discount: You can bypass the hike by pre-ordering online for $5.
🫶September 29– Ticket sales portions will go to support Ronald McDonald House.
NEW! 🐏How to Show a Sheep: Kids and adults can learn how to properly show a sheep @ Sons of the American Legion Squadron 273 Bloomsburg Livestock Outdoor Ring.
Bloomsburg Fair Admission
ADMISSION TIPS
- Preview Day: Friday, September 25- reduced admission from $8/person to $3/person. Fair Gates open at 2pm.
- Calling all early risers! The fair is open every day at 7am with hardly any foot traffic (after preview day).
- General admission (all days)- FREE for children 12 and under!
- Seniors Day: Monday, September 28– 65 and older- FREE with valid ID. This is a great day for kids to bond with their grandparents or other senior relatives!
- Student Days: Tuesday, September 29 and Friday, October 2– ages 13-18- FREE
- Military Day: Wednesday, September 30– Any veteran, past or present (with valid ID)- FREE
🌟Information kiosks are located at gates 3, 5 and 8 this year - Save on admission: (Buy Online, in person at the ticket office, or at Weis Markets)
–Advance Gate Tickets: $7/person (ages 13+)
–Packet of 8 tickets: $48, ($6/person, ages 13+)
–Week-Long Badge Pass: $35/person (ages 13+): a great option if your family really enjoys the fair and plans to visit multiple times!

🎤FREE Stage Entertainment
Each day of the fair there are multiple shows happening at the Free Stages- which includes the WNEP and Millenium Park Stages. From musical artists and bands, to dance performances, comedy shows, bible services, contests, and more!
🎡Rides- Passes & Tickets
If you and/or your children enjoy rides, consider purchasing an Amusements of America Ride Voucher ahead of time online. You can purchase up to 12 online ride tickets at $20/ticket ($30/ticket when purchased at the fair) Your ticket will be redeemed for a wristband to be utilized for ONE DAY of unlimited rides.

Kids’ Corner: FREE Livestock Entertainment & More Not to Be Missed
Bloom Fair has a designated kid’s area where Farmer Bloom, the fair’s mascot, will be present. This area is intended to have fun things for kids to do and learn about livestock & agriculture.

Have you heard of Mutton Busting?! They put children on sheep (with a helmet), and see how long they can stay on! This happens in the American Legion Squadron 273 Bloomsburg Livestock Outdoor Ring (Except Tuesday & Thursday). Daily mutton-busting signups for the children will take place at the outdoor ring.

We’ve once again teamed up with our favorite Bloom fair fanatic, Alexis Gulliver, who runs an annual list of all of her favorite food & drink vendors, as well as activities and attractions she loves. Some of her must try places include:

-Denny & Pearl’s Pizza, Lapps (soft pretzels), Belly Busters (burgers), Amish Donut, R Bar & Grill (wings), John the Greek Gyro, Marcy’s Orangeaid, Loch’s (maple syrup milkshake), and so many more!

Uncle Nick’s 0.25 cent Candy Game, Dime Toss, photos with baby cows (inside cattle barn) and fun activities outside the cattle barns (mini tractors, etc.), Sky Ride, and lots more!

Did you know you can camp at the fair? The Bloomsburg Fair offers RV Parking at $40 per night in our camping lots for the fair and all other grounds events. This year, camping is available at Boone’s Dam. Depending on the lot some spots will have water, electric, and sewer hookups. Learn more below!
