Fall activity signups are here, and with them comes the yearly scramble to figure out which classes, activities, and programs are actually worth your family’s time (and calendar space). Whether you’re looking for a music or theatre class that sparks a lifelong passion, a rec sports league that gets your kid moving or learning a new skill, or a low-key craft program for an after school activity, this guide rounds up the best out-of-school options for fall — organized by category so you can find a fit fast and lock in a spot before registration fills up.

Bloomsburg Area YMCA

The Bloom Y has a huge variety of activities to choose from this fall- ranging from sports, to art, to STEM, and spanning lots of age groups!


Berwick YMCA Youth Programming

The Berwick YMCA offers several variations of Youth Sports, Clinics and Leagues. Be sure to stay updated on our current programs via social media or downloading the current schedule!

Lewisburg YMCA Programming

Basketball

The Lewisburg YMCA offers a variety of basketball events on its four full-sized collegiate basketball courts. Each 94′ by 50′ court allows plenty of space to meet your needs, whether that’s open gym, leagues, or tournaments. Basketball programming includes a variety of basketball leagues, tournaments, camps, clinics, and open play.


Bison Field Hockey Club

Bison Field Hockey Club is open to all players ages 5 through high school. From beginners to experienced players, we help you learn and have an awesome time playing and training.


Little Stars & Big Stars Programs

A great program that teaches younger children about various sports to expose them to different experiences and expand their athletic tastes and abilities.

Columbia & Montour Counties Master Angler Program

The Master Angler Passport is a “Catch, Photo and Release” tournament. Its fishing for FUN, and to help sustain the fish population in the waterways of Columbia & Montour counties.


Central Columbia Aquatic Club (Bloomsburg)

CCAC, Inc. is an age-group swim team providing high quality, experienced coaching, and technique instruction for elementary – middle school students, from the developing swimmer to the advanced competitor.

USA Ninja Challenge (Sunbury)

Ninja Classes for Kids

Ninja fitness classes give kids an immersive experience into the sport of Ninja. Children are introduced to a variety of obstacles and an interactive learning program.

Separated into age groups: Sidekicks (ages 2-3); Junior Ninjaa (ages 4-5); Ninjas 6-8 year olds; 9-12 year olds, & Teen Warriors (12-14). Also offering Homeschool/Cyberschool classes.


MVP Clubhouse (Bloomsburg)

Offering clinics, tournaments, and team or one-on-one lessons with experienced coaches for baseball, basketball, and soccer!

Scouts

Music Classes

Joyful experiences stick with us—including educational ones! Build confidence, strengthen family connection, and help your child meet developmental milestones through the power of music.


Music Together Classes build on your child’s natural enthusiasm for music and movement. We’ll help you provide your child with the basic musical skills needed to enjoy school and social musical activities, and to study an instrument should he or she choose to do so. Experience Music Together and find out how important–and how fun–your role can be!


Pathfinders Afterschool Programs

Pathfinders are after-school and summer programs available for students in grades 3-6 at L.R. Appleman Elementary School in Benton Area School District, grades 5-8 at Central Columbia Middle School, grades 3-6 at Warrior Run Elementary School, and grades K-5 at West Snyder and Middleburg Elementary schools in the Midd-West School District.
