From their website:
“Catherine Treon’s School of Dance strives to teach any person who would like to learn to express themselves through different forms of dance. We practice and encourage each other while dancing so that everyone can reap the benefits of self-confidence and a positive healthy lifestyle. We do not body shame or discriminate against any of our students. We hope to encourage our students to work on their own dancing rather than compare themselves to or beat others. Students meet once or twice a week to work on their dancing abilities while also being able to enjoy the time spent with their peers.
Morgan Smith (Kerstetter) is the current owner and operator of Catherine Treon’s School of Dance. Morgan has been a member of the Catherine Treon School of Dance family since she was 3 and continued as a student through graduation. Morgan continued to study dance throughout her college career taking many courses in dance at Bloomsburg University as well as continuing to take from Treon’s School of Dance.
She has been a leader in the younger student’s class since age 6. Morgan began substituting for Catherine in 2012 and has continued since. Morgan hopes to continue Catherine’s legacy, as a teacher and the owner of teaching to all ages and abilities in a kind and caring way. She hopes to show her students the joy of dance and allow them to feel the release of emotions that she experiences in dance as well. ”
We are open in Danville on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and we are open in Sunbury on Tuesdays. We are currently accepting new students and anyone can try their first class for free!
