Walking Trails
“The Dale’s Ridge, Koons, and Glacier Pools Preserve Trails are all located on PRIVATE PROPERTY protected by conservation easements held by the Merrill Linn Conservancy. (The Merrill Linn Trail is located in Bald Eagle State Forest on state-owned land.) Our trails remain open at the pleasure of the property owners. We ask all trail visitors to abide by trail rules that are posted at trailheads. All trails are for human foot traffic and pets on leash.”
- Dale’s Ridge Trail – 1471 Strawbridge Road, off Route 192 west of Lewisburg
- Koons Trail – Mifflinburg is located on North 4th Street at the historic Hassenplug Covered Bridge
- Merrill Linn Trail – This one-mile loop is an extension off of the Mid-State Trail in extreme northwestern Union County
- Glacier Pools Preserve – Located at 757 Pine Tree Rd, Hughesville, PA, northwest of Picture Rocks
