As a team of moms, we at Susquehanna Kids know how important it is to feel connected to and supported by other moms who can relate to you, at whatever stage of motherhood you are experiencing. It can be daunting to find parenting groups if you’re not sure where to look or who to ask. We’ve compiled a list of groups-some are strictly online based, some are in person, and some are both- in the hopes we can help moms (and dads, too!) find the support they seek, whether it be advice, friendship, camaraderie, activities and more.
In addition to these resources, many churches in our area hold meetings and events for mothers, fathers, and parents together. Also, your children’s school’s PTO/PTA groups are great resources to find parent-centered connection opportunities.
