Local PreK Counts & Head Start Programs:
The Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit (CSIU) created a great guide to these programs, which are income-based for eligibility. Their Early Childhood Services guide includes lots of helpful & informative links.
PreK Counts:
An initiative of the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Pre-K Counts is administered by the (CSIU) in nine local school districts: Bloomsburg, Berwick, Central Columbia, Line Mountain, Millville, Milton, Shikellamy, Southern Columbia, & Warrior Run. In addition both the Lewisburg Area School District and the Danville Area School District run their own Pre-K Counts programs.
Head Start
