“Crosswinds Martial Arts has been serving the Bloomsburg Area since 1986. Originally, the dojo was located on Main Street. In Fall of 1998 the school moved to East 6th Street, allowing for roughly 4 times the training area of the old school. With the expansion and renovation of the new facility, Shihan Tomaino has installed a SWAIN floor system. These are the same mats used by Olympic athletes training in Martial Arts. The floor system is designed to provide the utmost safety and comfort for all students. It is the best on the market today and will help to prevent wear on the joints and injury.

The school enrolls 80-150 students ranging in age from 4-60. Crosswinds has a large supply of martial arts training equipment such as a wooden dummy, a body opponent bag, pedestals, banana bags, speed bags, kicking and blocking pads, weight lifting equipment, and other supplies essential to martial arts training. Full body armor for full contact fighting along with weights and conditioning pads make it the most well-equipped school in the area.”
